What’s the best way to grow a division of a company? Focus attention it! That is exactly what we are doing here at Action. After years of being a leader in the garage door industry, we have decided to focus the same attention on our gate division.
As of February, the Action gate division has been renamed the Access Division. As the new name reflects, the division will be expanding to cover all aspects of access management for residential, neighborhood / apartment complexes and commercial.
The first order of business was to promote Mike Hill to Access Manager. Mike has been with the company since he relocated from Michigan in the summer of 2015. Mike has over 25 year experience in the garage and gate door industry from installing doors to being general manager of a store. We are lucky to have Mike’s experience directing this newly reformed division.
Before Mike got settled into his new office, he promoted Joe Pinder to Access Project Manager. Joe will be overseeing the installation process. Joe has been a member of the Action team for 17 years. During that time he has been a lead gate technician and trainer for new gate technicians. His expertise from years in the field makes him the perfect choice for the PM position.
Jim Sheehan will continue as the access estimator providing our sales consultants with time estimates for customers.
